3 Home Truths – Free Guide Intro

Wow! That took a deep dive fast, didn’t it?

Here you are coming to have an innocent little shop for some body care products, and I get all serious on you. You're probably thinking,

“Am I in the right place?

What on earth is this woman on?

And what’s ignorance got to do with natural body care?”

In short. Everything.

Because to me, ignorance isn’t used here to provoke, punish and humiliate you because you didn’t know better.

No. We’re not doing that.

Not on our watch.

Here, ignorance is simply:

  • a lack of information

  • a lack of desire to be informed and

  • a lack of desire to use the information once you’re informed

Either way, the energy of this is lacking.

See. I admire you for wanting and committing to taking care of yourself externally.

Everyone loves a rub down with soothing products or a relaxing massage.

Yet, I’m curious.

What do you do to take care of yourself internally?

Because at this point, I have to be honest.

My products and services won’t work for you.

What?

Yeah, I said it.

Because as powerful as my intentions are that what I offer will support you; if you don’t believe or have a genuine desire for them to support you, they won’t.

For well-being, your desire is the main motivation.

And that desire can be a simple as, “I want to feel better”.

That’s enough.

Then, when you take care of yourself internally, the approach turns into a holistic one, taking everything into account.

So what else is there to take into account?

Here are 3 home truths about our wellbeing that I’ve realised along my journey. They’re based on my understanding of what I’ve learned, practiced, and experienced in my own life so far.

Seriously. These have helped me snap out of ignorances that weren’t serving me. And I’ve been using them to stop feeling ripped off and pissed off with people and this planet!

Dramatic, I know, but don’t you feel that way too sometimes?

Thank goodness the drama is temporary, eh!

Ok, so let’s get into it.

Home truth number 1. We’re out of our minds.

Our thoughts are so externally focused that we end up in mental conflict. The conflict is between influences we’re feeding off of outside, and what we’re really experiencing inside.

Meanwhile, we’re processing our thoughts with our 3 minds: the conscious, unconscious, and higher conscious mind.

The mind isn’t real, though. The brain is. And it’s our brain that processes our thoughts, interpreting our mind's language, making our thoughts real.

This is where understanding some Neurology and Neuro Linguistics comes in handy.

Home truth number 2. We’re negligent of our bodies.

We’re actually having internal responses to our thoughts. But our thoughts are happening so fast that we don’t always notice how they’re affecting us.

We keep going, trying to override any niggle and ignore it until it gets bigger. Then when we get ill, we’re surprised.

How dare our body fail us now! Gets your attention though, doesn’t it?!

This is where understanding some Physiology and Metaphysics comes in handy.

Home truth number 3. We’re terrified of our emotions.

Now someone, somewhere, appointed themselves the Emotions Police. They decided what emotions are ‘good’ and what emotions are ‘bad’.

And whenever we have a ‘bad’ feeling, we must escape it, as if it were a fire. No wonder we’re terrified!

Listen! There is no fire. Emotions are just energy. Energy in motion. And motion is vibration.

This is where understanding some Physics and Hypnosis comes in handy.

Guidance

Alright, so how do I use all this when I feel out of balance?

First, I get honest. When I’m done mentally complaining and blaming everyone and the universe for me being here, I start to chill.

Because being off balance in any area of my life doesn’t feel good to me. And it affects all areas of my life.

Here, I’m asking, my Self “what’s goin’ on for us?”

Second, I get it clear. Because yes, I have to acknowledge what’s going on. And sitting with problems is one thing. But I don’t like problems. They problem me! And I’m finding as I get older, that peace has become my preferred solution.

So I get focused. Here, I’m asking myself, “What are we gonna do about it?

Third, I get moving. Time to back myself up. Because honesty, clarity, and focus need movement. I’m establishing my own personal groove to get back into lifing, which feels better for me.

Here, I’m no longer asking. I’m affirming, “ Yes. We’re doing this”.

Sounds easy when I put it like that, right?

Easier said than done. Especially if you’re not in the mood!

But how do you know if you don’t at least try?

I mean, these are just some things you can try. They’re not the only things, though. There are so many tools, tips, exercises, and challenges that can enhance your experience.

Because, like with everything, there are layers and levels to this work.

It’s true self-work.

Either way, you’re gonna need something. Especially when you know deep down that you and your well-being matter.

For the next time things get out of balance.

Because they will. They have to. It’s just the way life is.

And at its core, balance is transforming your experience, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

You have a choice.

Are you up for the challenge of doing this self-work?

If so, I vote:

  • We get more internally focused, as standard.

  • We need to be more attentive to our bodies.

  • We sack the Emotions Police.

  • And we are way more compassionate with our Selves.

Because resisting naturally occurring responses to our thoughts and perceptions of our experience creates more resistance.

It doesn’t make sense.

And I know I’m not alone in this.

So let’s work on our wellbeing together.
